I downloaded v2.2 and burned it to a CD, but it wouldn't boot, wouldn't even open the init or vmlinuz files. Then I transferred it to a USB drive with netbootin, which supplies its own bootloader. The result was still the same, no recognition at all. 
I downloaded with torrent. Did I get only part of the expected download?
