Follow-up Comment #1, bug #13710 (project dotgnu-pnet):
Some background:
"Microsoft .NET 2.0" uses the "2.5" runtime version to distinguigish between
1.x and 2.0 assemblies (1.x assemblies used "2.0"). In particular, the "2.5"
flag is needed for .NE assemblies to peroperly run nas native x64 or IA64 on
64-bit versions of the Microsoft >NEt runtime; asseblies marked as
"2.0" will always run in 32bit compatibility mode.
Since the Microsoft .NET 1.x runtime handles assemblies with "2.5" just fine
(runs them like any other assembly) and Mono shows the same behavior, it is
suggested that pnet too should ignore this runtime version flag and run all
assemblies, 2.0 or 2.5
