Most of the support C# code is in place, but there are still some things to do

It's already supported, to a degree. Under Unix systems, isolated storage is
placed into sub-directories under $HOME/.cli/isolated-storage, one per domain
and/or assembly that requests isolated storage functionality.
No attempt is made to hide this storage from the rest of the system, as doing
so is a fundamental violation of the principle that the user owns all files
on their hard drive, not the application vendor. i.e. it purposely cannot be
used to implement DRM-style isolated storage systems, and there is no
circumstance under which DotGNU will change this policy.
