/me asks a couple of questions ...
Did you build with --with-apache ?
Are you getting dgee/apache/mod_dgee.so ?
Have you updated the httpd.conf with mod_dgee.so ?
What user is Apache running as , is it the same as DGEE ?
When you restart apache , is it reporting any problems to error_log ?

run "gwmkcfg" to update configuration file from XML to binary.
my advice is that you run this in a root shell with the config vars set..
(or put ". /usr/local/share/dgee/dgeeenv.sh" in your /root/.bash_profile)

This looks ok to me ... make a new dgeeconfig.bin and restart dgee.
