Attached is an archive containing:

original GeneralFormatter.cs (GeneralFormatter.cs.orig from
pnetlibxxx/runtime/system/private/numberformat)
modified GeneralFormatter.cs
list2_2.cs which is a tutorial listing from the csharpstation website - the
original URL of its retrieval is at top of file.

When list2_2.cs compiled and run with the distribution, an uncaught
exception is generated by portable.net-0.5.4.

After applying the change, there is no uncaught exception, and the output
matches that shown on the webpage.

The portable.net systems were built under cygwin on windowsNT4.  (Don't
remember what version of cygwin, not sure where to look, but some version
within last 3-4 months I think.)
