I really find hosting the code in github a positive thing because of the community and because of the ease of collaborating with the project (Even PHP is in github). There's also a page called "Gitorious" http://gitorious.org/ that only hosts open source projects and many of them are "famous".

Can i write the documentation of a free software by using Microsoft Word ?
Can i go to the natural market using an helicopter ?

I totally agree with this idea.
It is the author of a program or module that decides if his work should
be distributed under a free license.
The people fixing bugs are also authors but they have to approve and
respect the original license.
Do we need to distinguish these two categories as author ?
In the same idea, I have an old troll who remains ...
Why do we use "github" to manage the sources of a free project ?
