So thanks tremendously for this, and for the prompt PR processing.

But, ahem it seems like "set_k()" is a generic problem--found same issue 
with the add_const_vxx  blocks as well....  A sweep should probably be
  done to make sure they're all PYBINDed.  (Pybound?)
