just to avoid this thread going on indefinitely with no action, i think we
can consider this one decided and make the changes

do we have consensus to delete mentions of the client and repo, and
retain the FSD entry, but explicitly for the server code-base only?

the client could perhaps be discussed as a separate issue, requiring a new
entry, if acceptable

the repo, i think, is quite irrelevant, unless as a warning about the client
