I suggest that the FSF discuss this.I don't think we've done a review on it. Would the FSF like to do that? Could you explain what the issue is? The .NET core packages in Trisquel, Debian (https://packages.debian.org/search?suite=default§ion=all&arch=any&searchon=names&keywords=dotnet), and Ubuntu (https://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=dotnet&searchon=names&suite=cosmic§ion=all) are related to GTK: * libgtk-dotnet3.0-cil * libgtk-dotnet3.0-cil-dev To install the runtime you have to: * Download an installation script described at https://github.com/dotnet/docs/blob/master/docs/core/linux-prerequisites.md#scripting-installs-with-the-net-core-installer-script or: * Download a .deb package described at https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/linux-package-manager/ubuntu16-04/runtime-2.0.5 Prerequisites for .NET Core on GNU/Linux https://github.com/dotnet/docs/blob/master/docs/core/linux-prerequisites.md https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/core/linux-prerequisites All prerequisites are found in Trisquel, that's a good thing! If the .NET Core and ASP .NET Core packages ("runtime" and "sdk") are 100% free, then they should be packaged, otherwise we should about them. |
