Hello everyone,
I'd like to report that I've made some very early progress in the
process of importing Trisquel database info into the FSD.
I've written a program that generates approximate matches of Trisquel
source packages and FSD projects based on their names, or their home
pages.
The next step seems to be writing a simple javascript interface that
will allow people to look at the output in chunks and choose whether
they think a given match is likely to be correct or not.
I've attached the input and output data of the fuzzyfields program I
wrote. The readme file links to the gitorious repo of the program.
If you're interested in writing the simple human interface, please
send me or this list an email. :)
For details about the planned process, take a look here:

take care,
- -andrew
