Details:

The "General" Palette does not appear in the list of palettes. So when I tried
undocking it, it could be moved but disappeared (except that it became visible
from the shortcut button on my Win10 machine (as does the Typeset Music, Score
Layout etc).
However when it was closed I could not find a way to reopen it. Show Palette
did not give it as an option!

In general it would be nice if, when I wanted to find the name of a visible
Palette, it would be easy to do so, from the Right-click menu perhaps
