BTW I notice in these screenshots that you have three palettes on the
left hand side which I would guess you do not really want (they are for
inserting/changing notes by clicking with a mouse). You can get rid of
them by right-clicking on one of the buttons and going to the Edit this
Palette sub-menu where Hide can be activated.
