I've tried the
http://denemo.org/~jjbenham/gub/uploads/denemo-0.0.0-0.linux-x86.tar.xz
on my 64-bit machine.
It uses
Gtk versions runtime: 3.4.4, compiled against: 3.4.4

and it too complains about the scrolling window that Playback View uses.

The attempt to run LilyPond also fails, but this may just be to do with
the 64 bit thing - it does mean that there is no test of whether it
would load into the GtkImage properly.
