hmm, well there is the bug that the LilyPond external pref is set to
work with the pre-built GNU/Linux binary which fails for built from
scratch, I think this should be fixed because it will break the versions
built for Debian etc, they will build but not work until the user
changes the pref. The bug reference is:

Also, I should finish off the set of Directives that should apply just
to the current part - I hope to get that done today. But, I take it you
are happy to go for a release? We will need to have a good spell of
testing once you have created 1.0.4 because there have been a lot of
changes in remote parts of the code (the tidying-up done by Eloi) so
there is no guarantee that little-used features are still working.
Thankfully Eloi has started to address the question of testing too.
