Well, I'll try and update the docs this week and then we should
      * copy the new features to the change log
      * create the branch
      * upload the candidate tarball to denemo.org
      * download and test that it is ok
      * final upload to ftp.gnu.org 
We could aim for Sunday 13th November if you prefer a weekend, otherwise
midweek is generally better for announcements.
