[Denemo-devel] 0.8.18 Release

Hey people,

It would be nice for me to release 0.8.18 before the "official" Summer of Code 
period begins. There are no rational reasons, it just feels good.

what do you think should go into the 0.8.18 release besides what is already in 
git. These are the items on our roadmap:

-Default is now non-modal
-Separate shortcut loading command
-Advance On Edit entry type Advance on Edit mode
-Two key keyboard shortcuts Two Key Shortcuts
-MIDI effects - controllable note duration, crescendi etc Midi Effects
-Dynamic Denemo Directives Dynamic Denemo Directives
-Playing back repeats in MIDI MIDI Repeats
-MIDI shortcuts MIDI shortcuts
-Custom palettes/button bars of commands Custom palettes
-[Nils] "Mensurstriche" / Mensural Barlines switchable for Lilypond render
-Refinements to Playback Controls Midi Player Controls Recording Midi

I think we could shift all Midi improvements to the next release and try to 
hunt down bugs on mass there to finally give a really good playback experience 
(including staccato and other modifiers).

What's left for me is still a new shortcut and mode system, I wanted to do that 
for some time now and never got to it. This includes. But since this is not 
work in progress it could be as well done after a release.

Any opinions?
