Follow-up Comment #1, bug #29227 (project denemo):
There is no bug in Denemo. At least not in 0.8.14 and I don't think in
0.8.12, too.
Here is how its done right:
1)Use the right lilypond syntax for lyrics. Divide words with " -- ", not
with a simple dash.
This is the correct beginning
Come down O love di -- vine. Seek thou this soul of mine.
If you want long melismas use the underscore for each blank note.: "Glo -- _
_ _ _ ri -- a".
2)Use the right musical terms and then the right functions. A "tie" ties two
notes of the same pitch to create durations over a barline or to create
durations which can not be expressed with dots. Did you not get lilypond
errors or warnings in Denemos console?
A "slur" is used for legato or melisma, which is what you want
it. Use the Slur.
