Details:

Hi guys

Have been attempting to compile and install your new version 0.8.4 on my
Ubuntu / Jaunty system.  Attempted to run the ./configure script, installed
the missing pieces and repeated until the script created all of the makefiles
etc. with no further error.

Attempting to 'make' ended up with an error - 

libtool cannot find "libsamplerate.la"

This is fixed by apt-get install libsamplerate0-dev; shouldn't it be checked
by the configure script though?
