I am sorry - I didn't see that you had checked in file.c and that we
were working in parallel: I'll take care to flag what I am proposing to
do before I do it in future. My code assumes the system wide templates
directory is called templates (all lower case) not Templates. I guess
that was just a typo (?).
There is button on the toolbar for open template which should go and the
wording of the menu item "template save" could be improved, otherwise I
think this is decent enough, though all the possible combinations of
saving and loading templates/file system and local may throw up some
problem. The string quartet template has a bug in the cello staff.
But I think this is ready to go.
What are the big remaining issues (apart from the docs)?
