"Unable to parse pathname-substitutions"

Hi there, 

I am not 100% sure whether my problem is a gdb or DDD problem, but
please help me find out. 

I attach to a running process and open the source, the sourcecode is
displayed in the source window, but than I get a message on the console,
that it is unable to parse pathname-substitutions...? I can set
breakpoints and step through the code but I cannot see the lines I am
stepping through.
Here's what happens on the console:
