special characters and ddd

Hi all,
I have a question about ddd

In the code I am debugging there is a character "è" (E8 ascii) inside a C comment
(/* è */)

The ddd source window does not show me the code that follows the special character

I use ddd 3.3.9 on redhat 9.0

please could you help me ?
