ddd3.3.1 compile error with gcc-3.0.x on solaris8

Hello,

I get the following when trying to compile ddd-3.3.1 with gcc-3.0.x on a
Solaris 8 system:

g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I. -I./.. -isystem /usr/openwin/include
-DNDEBUG -O2 -g -W -Wall -trigraphs -c PannedGE.C
PannedGE.C:145: cannot convert `void (*)(...)' to `void (*)()' in
   initialization
   *** Error code 1
   make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `PannedGE.o'
   Current working directory /home/jamest/Downloads/ddd/ddd-3.3.1/ddd
   *** Error code 1
   make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `all-recursive'

Does anyone have a clue what to do to fix this problem?  Are there any flags
to pass gcc to make it behave as a previous version (gcc-2.95.3 perhaps)?
