hi,
about 3 or 4 years ago, i have a problem with debugging fortran in
linux: gdb is a very bad
fortran debugger if you compare it with dbx, irix, unix one. you CANNOT
see any variable you passed through a common, for instance. and this is
really annoying.. of course, this problem is extended to ddd. you should
have heard about this, aren't you?
then, i gave up. fortunately, in my research center they bought a
commercial fortran (absoft) with a normal debugger...
about 2 years later, i returned to the problem. still i see the same
bug: no way to see these variables, nothing has changed.
now i come back to the problem.. and guess what!! yeah.. still the same.
i think that you don't bother too much in fortran users (i got this
answer before..).
i am just wondering if you have any plan about fixins this. maybe in
future versions?
or maybe you fixed it, and i simply don't know how to see it...
thanks a lot!
