DDD with LessTif

I get the same message :

>                   for further diagnostics.
> configure: error: ./configure failed for ddd


when i try to configure DDD.  i'm not sure which directory i should specify 
because Xm is in three directories inside the LessTif main 
directory.(Motif1.2,Motif2.0, and Motif2.1) Also i'm not sure how to invoke 
two options at the same time with the configure tool.

any suggestions?
