I don't think it's a problem, but I've done it nonetheless. AFAICT, things
work either way. I've attached a patch to my previous Makefile.am for
using libtool to generate the resource objects. I guess we can go with
this version and use libtool elsewhere in Makefile.am if we want. I got
the LTGCJCOMPILE incarnation from H.J. Lu in gcc bugzilla #17290.
