No bus errors. Happily running around with 1.85. I just made a symlink
from /usr/local/bin/chicken to ./chicken to get it to build. Make
replaced the symlink later on with a shell script. That is I bootstrapped
1.85 with 1.74.

I did "touch" the scm files at the end to have them rebuilt with the
shell wrapper but I don't think it was necessary.
