[Chicken-users] Building from CVS fails

Hello again,


I downloaded the newest version from CVS. Building fails in the
pre-configure phase:

$ autoheader
configure.in:49: warning: Cannot check for file existence when cross compiling
$ automake --foreign -a --copy
Makefile.am:20: LIBS defined both conditionally and unconditionally
Makefile.am:126: csi_LDADD defined both conditionally and unconditionally
Makefile.am:133: csi_static_LDADD defined both conditionally and unconditionally
Makefile.am:192: libstuffed_chicken_la_SOURCES defined both conditionally and 
unconditionally
Makefile.am:208: libustuffed_chicken_la_SOURCES defined both conditionally and 
unconditionally

and autoconf bombs.

I use Autoconf version 2.13 and automake (GNU automake) 1.4.

Any proposals?
