On which platform are you running CERTI ?
Windows, Linux, ???
You have an example of run here:
http://www.nongnu.org/certi/certi_doc/User/html/execute.html
The example is a bit raw but it should work.
Basically
1) You first have to run the 'rtig ' (CERTI CRC a.k.a. 'RTI Gateway')
2) Then you run as many Federate you'll have in your federation
The example given is with the "billard" which is a CERTI test application.
Billard has graphical output on Unix but only textual on Window,
in which case it is called "billard-nogui".

Hi Wal?ria,
on the machine you want to run RTIG (the server), you need to set
"CERTI_HOME" to the directory where you have installed certi. The server
searches for the FOM file based on this directory. On all machines
running a federate, you have to set "CERTI_HOST" to the IP or the name
of the machine you run the RTIG (may be localhost). You can also set the
ports (CERTI_TCP_PORT or CERTI_UDP_PORT) on both machines (but take care
it's the same on all machines). You don't need the rest.
Google will help you to find how to set environment variables on your OS :-)
Best
Jan-Patrick
