Hello,
got some drives on an PATA-USB2 Adaptor (JMicron-Chip)
When I do this:
xorriso -dev /dev/sr2 -list_formats
or
xorriso -dev /dev/sr2 -blank as_needed
I got this:
xorriso 1.3.2 : RockRidge filesystem manipulator, libburnia project.
<hangs some seconds here>
libburn : FAILURE : SCSI command ACh yielded host problem: 0x5
SG_ERR_DID_ABORT (Told to abort)
libburn : FAILURE : SCSI command ACh yielded host problem: 0x5
SG_ERR_DID_ABORT (Told to abort)
libburn : FAILURE : SCSI command 5Ah yielded host problem: 0x7
SG_ERR_DID_ERROR (Internal error detected in the host adapter)
libburn : FATAL : Lost connection to drive
xorriso : FAILURE : Cannot aquire drive '/dev/sr2'
xorriso : aborting : -abort_on 'FAILURE' encountered 'FATAL'
After this the drive disapears from the bus (on lsscsi it disappears)
after a few seconds it is again recognized in the system sometimes
false als "disk" not as "cd/dvd". After maually reconect from usb-cable
it is recognized correctly.
The above commands work perfect on internal SATA drives.
