Ah, OK. You are starting with the engine-output window closed.
I only tested with the window open... Funny enough WinBoard does
not mind changing the title of a non-existing window.

Anyway, thanks for finding this. I incorporated the fix now in the patch
to this feature that was already in hgm.nubati.net. (Which switched
it from counting forward rather than having a count-down, because
it is not quite clear what we should count down to: 50 moves or the
adjudication point set by the user.)
