Hello,
Today I installed QB64 on a Win8.1 system.
However, I found that the "USA-International"
keyboard setting causes a problem.
The '" key does not seem to operate.
This normally is a dead key (changes the code of
the next key press so that combinations like ë can be made)
and it seems that QB64 cannot handle that.
Normallly I would press <"><space> to obtain the "-character.
But this does not work in QB64.
I thereore switched to the English keyboard, but
that does not allow entry of the # sign.
And no... ALT-034 does not work for me as I do not have a numeric keypad.
Anyway, I hope this can be solved in a future release.
I would really like to be able to re-run my old QB4.5 programs.
Best regards and a good start of 2015!!!!!
