yes, I am going to prepare a new alpha release in the next days but
before I would like to do some more tests.  I always do a clean checkout
when I prepare a new tarball, so probably something is fishy there :-)

hm.. I have always CC'ed them on any release, either alpha or stable,
thanks to have pointed it out, I will check it again with them.
