Ouch,
if I'm not mistaken Windows will recreated the most vital parts of the
path upon reboot (I.e the paths to c:\windows\;c:\windosw\system32 etc).
Not familiar with Windows but a quick google gave me this page:

You should look at the instructions under "System:". Don't know if this
will work though. Worst case I think you can recover back to the latest
restore point or what it is called now a days in Windows.
