The user can learn how write a basic shell script.
IMO, it is a bad idea to bring this logic inside wget. It seems much
work and without any real advantage. Also, scripting is a more generic
solution as you can use it with any cli program; so if the user needs to
learn something new, better to learn something that can be useful in
other situations as well.
