I am not sure whether I did use "-P=" the first time I
noticed this, but wget did not create a "=c" directory.
I am sure today I did use "-P ".
I am sure both times I did use "d:\temp" for drive and
path (full option today "-P d:\temp"), and both times
wget created instead a subdirectory named d_\temp
(with the underdash) in the drive it was running
(not D:) and attempted to download to it.
More info: wget version is 1.11.1 for DOS.
d:\temp did exist before I ran wget, and
continued to exist.
