Is the name of the file _really_ "...tar.tar"? Anyway, the message
sounds like a corrupt download or similar; or perhaps it's really a
"tar.gz", and hasn't been decompressed (maybe try -tzvf)

On a public forum, all these lengthy disclaimers do is waste people's
bandwidth. If you can at all send from a system that does not
automatically append such silly notes, by all means please do so. They
tend to irritate people.
