This issue is currently being tracked.

It's not yet clear to me whether this is a bug in Wget, or in the
kernel, and I don't currently have time to track down such an
intermittent bug on my own (however, Petr Pisar made some good strides
in the bug report). If it is a bug in Wget, then the problem doesn't
appear to match existing discussions on what behavior can trigger this
message (all things being equal, though, I'm more prepared to believe a
bug in Wget than one in the kernel...).
