Thanks for your report. And we appreciate the kind words. But we are
going to need some more information. First off go to
http://www.gnu.org/software/fileutils/doc/faq/
and since you are using the Cygwin Toolset
http://cygwin.com/faq/
and see what can be applied to your problem. Then if you think you
have a bug and you are using cygwin go here and read the reporting
guide. It has good stuff there.

The information asked for will help the developers debug the problem.
Sorry for the three pointers to go read but there is lots of good
stuff there and I am sure it will speed up the process.
