Thanks for the report.

That's odd.
If I use LANG=fr_FR, it works fine on my GNU libc-2.2.5 system,
but not if I use LANG=russian.  Both are listed in the output
of `locale -a'.  What C library are you using?

Maybe the Russian case-conversion tables are wrong?
