Global symbol "%texi2dvi_formats" requires explicit package name at /home/bothner/GNU/texinfo-cvs/+installed+/bin/texi2any line 10570. Global symbol "%texi2dvi_formats" requires explicit package name at /home/bothner/GNU/texinfo-cvs/+installed+/bin/texi2any line 10573. BEGIN not safe after errors--compilation aborted at /home/bothner/GNU/texinfo-cvs/+installed+/bin/texi2any line 10591. 

I was able to work around it with the attached "patch" to texi2any.
