Good to hear.

There was this other bug report about install-info not working
on some embedded systems, but I accidently deleted it and
I cannot find it anymore, it was very recent.

If anyone here still has that can he please bounce it to
me (redistribute)?

I see no way that what was described (I read it!) happened,
the script checks the existence of the directory, and should
not care about not or indeed existing pre-dir file.

But I would need to see that bug report.
