Sure, but that's a different issue.

Ok, done. Among the manuals tested in texi2html there is one that relied
on this behaviour to have a good looking output, in the menu comment
line, the cvs manual has:

* History browsing::            Viewing the history of files in various ways

CVS and the Real World.
-----------------------
* Binary files::                CVS can handle binary files


With --- kept in code_style in menu comment line, The ------- line
played its role of underlining well. Now transformed into a line of
— the result is much less good-looking...
