Oh, no, you have misread my posting:^) I know dist-bzip2 is supported by
automake and in fact I was proposing to retain it in texinfo for a
while. By saying "it was removed in favor of dist-lzma a couple of days
ago" I meant that it was intentionally removed from the _texinfo's_
AUTOMAKE_OPTIONS.
