Weeks grow long in Finland...

I merged the patches today though.

However I'm suffering some gnulib headaches when trying to build it;
let me know if it builds correctly for you guys.  If so, I just need to
fix my local setup, I fear I may have tinkered a tad bit too much.

Oh, BTW, if we're seriously considering creating a library out of the
utmpx and user/group account handling functionality, we might need to
stop using gnulib, since a lot of the modules are GPL only.  =/
