Hi,

In the GNU coding standards 2016-07-25

  https://www.gnu.org/prep/standards/standards.html

it is written:

  Whenever possible, please stick to the active voice, avoiding the
  passive, and use the present tense, not the future teste.

I suppose that it should be: "... not the future tense."
