path vs. file name

Would it be possible to change the following to allow for both `path'
and `file name' to be suggested and remove the discouragement for
using `path' to refer to file names? It is infact incorrect, since we
use the term path for file names in many GNU programs already.

| Please do not use the term "pathname" that is used in Unix
| documentation; use "file name" (two words) instead. We use the term
| "path" only for search paths, which are lists of directory names.
