have tried sourceinstall for a day, and i found it very interesting. But, i
found few things that you, developers, must handle.
First, if configure options too much, the configure
dialog goes to wide over my screen. I think you should add scroll bar or tabs to
handle with many options.
Second, if I type password, it reads ENTER as a
password character too. Usually, if I do shell login, ENTER means accept my
password, not a password character. The same thing if I press ENTER in kdm, gdm,
xdm, kde su, or gnome su. You should fix it.
Third, adding a source means making a copy of the
original source to .sourceinstall/src directory. So, after installing, you have
three copies. original source, compressed configured source, and also installed
program. I prefer having just one source, so moving the original source
to .sourceinstall/src is my choice.
Forth, I ask you to enable one feature. The
maximize button. I like doing it on maximized windows.
