uname -p question.

Could it be possible to get support(?) for correct cpu identification
through uname on a AMD K6-II system?

$uname -m
i586
$uname -p
unknown
$cat /proc/cpuinfo
processor       : 0
vendor_id       : AuthenticAMD
cpu family      : 5
model           : 8
model name      : AMD-K6(tm) 3D processor
stepping        : 12
....

I'm not sure how much the proc filesystem is linux-only and not
compatible with other os'es, but it would be a ratehr welcome option to
actually have it tell one's cpu :)
