Python bindings?

Hello!

I'm planning to create a small Unix-style photo library manager that
will save its database as plain text. That way it will be easy to sync
my photo library across different devices using Nextcloud, Syncthing
or whatever method.

I'm considering to use recfiles as my database format. It seems to be
a perfect fit! However, I want to create a small prototype app with
some simple high level language like Python or JavaScript.

I see there are Python bindings in the project. How do I use them? Is
there a documentation somewhere? And just to make sure are they for
Python 3?
