Hello,
GNU webmasters are considering a switch of all templated pages (those
using SSIs) to HTML5 in order to improve accessibility. But before doing
this, deprecated tags such as <tt> need to be removed. The Recutils home
page happens to have one. I'd like to remove it, and also do some minor
changes:
* replace <tt> with <code>;
* update the list of binaries to get rid of dead links;
* replace download URLs that are used a link text with something more
meaningful to screen readers;
* simplify the IRC item and the Mailing List section;
* consistently capitalize "Recutils".
* http > https where possible;
* balance the Features columns by moving "Vim syntax highlight" to the left.
* revise the CSS and markup to vertically center the text facing images;
* reduce page width.
* update to boilerplate 1.95;
A diff is attached. If you agree with these changes but don't have time
to commit them, I will gladly do it.
Best regards,
Thérèse
